I caught that.  The interviewer trying to feed and control the narrative.

Cooper wasn't having it.

Our Coach was crystal clear from the moment he arrived.  He gets it.

Did anyone reflect and wonder whether that could be a Prem game in a season or two.

I did.

And I hope Coops bottled that feeling and keeps reminding the players.

We’re definitely on a ‘journey’ !!

"I think what I liked about last night?  Forest were in complete control.  Composed.  Calculated.

For a moment, part of me thought, blink...and this could be a fixture from the division above.

Perhaps a preview of the heavenly banquet to come."

After Cooper's early tactical change, we dominated midfield. Nice to have a manager that can actually make changes on the fly, not needing to substitute to do it, and not waiting until the 80th minute.

Absolutely.
Also funny that in every post match interview I heard, they mentioned the change of Forest formation during 1st half, except Rooney's!

Yep, I thought that. Rooney never mentioned that we changed shape. When it happens most managers raise it as they think it's a compliment paid by the oppositon, especially a home side. I did wonder if Rooney actually understood what happening right in front of him.

The fact that we can change from a 3/5 to a 4 in game is all down to Yates' adaptability. He really is a huge asset to us.

Another big win watched by a national audience. The likes of Shearer now taking note of Cooper's career performance to date. And a few pundits now putting two and two together in that he's won a junior world cup, he's lifted a Swansea side to two play-offs and has now taken the team at the bottom of the Championship and turned them into promotion candidates in the space of 4 months.

He's getting noticed now and we're really really going to struggle to keep hold of the guy in the next year.
