Forza have just released a thread about yesterday’s display. An amazing effort and some lovely hidden touches like the squad names on the trees, a staggering amount of work and creativity has gone into this.
Well done to all involved and shout out to Cooper who was in on it too.

This is not a complaint at all- this is a fantastic foresight from the club and certainly an indicator of a potentially bright future.

I do think we may have to change our views of players stays at WFCG -they may become much more like commodities to be bought, hopefully to thrive and sell for max profit!

That may be a good way of attracting some players- allowing ourselves to be a stepping stone in the short/mid-term whilst we develop the ethos of the club

We can still romanticise players.  Whilst we have them.

It was ever so.

See: Break up of the Golden Generation Clough and Taylor side.

It looked terrific from the highlights I saw.

Must have been amazing seeing it 'in person.'

He was Brentford head of recruitment when they signed Watkins and Maupay, among others. Done good work at Swansea since then as well. I think he will be head of scouting.

Some seriously great work gong on and we have built a great team behind the scenes.

Smart.  His track record speaks for itself.  Just the kind of 'killer' recruitment move we expect of the new, progressive transfer team.

We shall be following his progress with great interest.

The future's bright.  The future is Red.

David Cook leaving the club after 5 yrs.

Be a big loss IMO.

Turned the club around in terms of its commercial revenues.

Hopefully an equally adept replacement will come in.

He will be a huge loss.

Agreed both Cook and Vrentzos did a lot of great work in improving both the financial and business side of the club, lets say that they have left things in a far better state than what they were when they came in.

We need a top class replacement it's an important roll.
