We could have prevented this, we need to be more savvy, other clubs do it.

Agreed. Im far more worried about the Croatians clattering into Brennan. Also Wales 2nd game on Tuesday doesn’t give much recovery time.

In Niakhate's case, if he gets some minutes for Senegal, that seems like a positive.
Gives him chance to work on his match fitness ahead of the Wolves game.

If we declare him injured he can’t play any games including a friendly, we would have to release him for Internationals. He could obviously train with the team though.

Wassy Senegal are playing the mighty mozambique, how is that going to be competitive? They wouldn't even beat Notts County.
And of course we could have pulled him out if we wanted to, other clubs do it all the time.
