I hated seeing his team's play football. That is all. Think you get frustrated with the defensive style now well we would get a whole lot more. And here is the thing once he is gone it takes a long time to recover from that style of play.

I suppose you can level that at him at Everton but he was at clubs battling to stay up. Going for promotion is different and he has done that once or twice too. My hunch is Hughton.

My reaction was the same as yours, but, the first objective is getting away from the relegation threat, I quite admire Big Sam and would be really good interviews, a larger than life character, anyway I don't think you need to worry though i think Big Sam would have us climbing the table with ease

I'd be happy with Nigel Pearson then Big Sam, they are the common sense, well grounded options, also at this moment in time we are in a relegation zone.

I could see us making the wrong appointment here, if we don't need 1 now we are soon gonna need a 'no frills' firefighter
