Who would have thought, we have to sell before 30th June, Why do they need to write a report saying we need to sell, it was pretty obvious, it makes out we are in a awful position we actually aren’t.

Seems to be gathering interest in Hudson-Odoi. I'd like us to keep him and I'd like to hope that after helping him re-establish himself he'd want to stay; however if we could sell him and it meant we didn't have to sell one of Murillo or MGW to comply with PSR then I'd rather do that.

The problem with that is if the sell on fee is 50% we'll likely get peanuts and it still won't cover PSR

Yeah, that's why I said 'if.' Unfortunately I don't think selling him alone would be enough - no idea if selling him and some fringe players would be.
Lots to do before June 30th.
Sounds to me like the club will be willing to accept any decent offer made for any of our players.

I cannot see Mr. Marinakis accepting low ball offers and it also works two ways. If there are more than one team after one of our players it will also be up to them to make an offer we would accept or risk missing out, so I don't think we will sell at a much lower price than the club thinks reasonable. There is also another factor that may play into this scenario, if there are a number of clubs that could be hit with a points deduction then it is not as critical and also like Everton this year we can claim double jeopardy and it is possible the deduction would be the same as they had which would be 2 points.

From a PSR perspective there are only 4 players in the current squad that by selling just 1 of them would resolve the problems MGW, Murillo, CHO, Yates All the others wouldn’t currently generate the required profit needed. Based on Mangala option being triggered as has been widely reported, and the cut price sale of Worrall, then we need to generate circa 10-15m profit. All of those players can do that IMO. Difficult to put a priority on it because of Yates importance on the whole culture etc. Murillo / Yates CHO MGW that would be my order of importance to the team in regards of replacing them
The thing is if we get low balled we couldn’t do what we did last year and say we were trying to get value for money for players because we’re being forced to sell early
I wish we could not sell anyone and say the reason was because it wouldn’t be profitable or sustainable, they’ll just say it’s a mess of our own making

What do people think we could realistically get for them 4 players
Yates 15 Cho 25 Mgw 60 Murillo 70
Come on you mighty Reds
