Never a dull moment being a Forest fan.
Don't think anything went on did it between October 2021 when Cooper arrived and May 2022 when we got promoted.
2 ways to look at that.
One way is that stuff goes on behind the scenes, always has always will, but when we are winning games it doesnt get noticed.
2nd way is that last season mistakes that were made previously were in some ways rectified, negative influences were marginalised and low and behold the atmosphere improved and results along with it.
Up to you which you think it is. By the way nffc93 I think to call it madness is a bit strong, maybe eccentricities is best?
I've seen respected journalists use that term but if it causes offence eccentricities it is

I just think that sometimes the egos of the managers/coaches gets the better of them and when they lose control of a situation they have no off button. Eg, Billy D and the Transfer Acquisition Panel*. Maybe the world of football would be a better place if there were more who acted like Cooper does. Who knows, when Cooper's been sacked a few times for results he thinks were out of his control he might become more outspoken.
* off topic but omg the Transfer Aquisition Panel, remember that? To think that Billy railed against a club process of bringing in players that is now totally the norm in top class football. Bless him.

Which is exactly why I'm deeply suspicious of any article written by Daniel Taylor. In the past the way he has presented stories about the club have, in my view, been done in a way to cause harm, or which might have been harmful to the club. He'll say he's written articles that are in the long term interest of the club but I think there's also definitely been some malice in the things he's written, for reason's only he will know. It's all subjective. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

While we're moaning about VAR, over in Greece.....
(2/4) Olympiakos’ representative said that Greek football is run by a “fascist deep state under a state of lawlessness and organised crime. This is natural since for 3 years a regime of interceptions, with links and branches to the organised crime, was seated in Maximos’ Mansion…

Percy interview with EM in the Telegraph today. Appears to be free to read but not read all of it yet.
Read it now - no huge revelations but worth five minutes of your time anyway.

A nice read and really it backs up what we already know but others fans go out of their way to ignore. A likeable guy who wants success and is willing to make mistakes along the way to get stronger.

To be fair he is long overdue a much easier and kinder write up. Probably the only article I have ever read about him which doesn’t do a few paragraphs about various rumour wrong doings.
There might be a couple of referees who are sleeping slightly less comfortably tonight though!

Nice read, would have been nice to hear something about the stadium development which has gone a little quiet.
