9000 words!
Digesting and reading between the lines vrentzos gets the most critical portrait. Almost as if DT holds some kind of grudge a or is he that divisive?

Worth pointing out that the authors are D Taylor, P Taylor and Matt Slater. Not just one persons opinion.

Marinakis embarrassed when we were in the championship
The Noor stuff that doesn’t go away
I could go on…
It is tempered by some balance that although not conventional- it has been effective. It also highlights several humanitarian efforts that should be applauded.
Wonder what sniffs take is?
We have a massive match tonight and that is all I am interested in. COYR.

I suspect the article will have originally been written as a hit piece in retaliation for the sacking of Cooper and/or Murphy.

It did highlight that the Marinakis family is steeped in football. Unlike most owners these days who know f-all about it, especially premier league club owners.

Just further highlights how good a job Cooper really did while having all that madness going on behind the scenes.

I dunno, I bet you could write a story about the goings-on any business and make it sound like a circus. Some of my old bosses, who I have the greatest respect for, have been relatively challenged in business acumen and yet they've made a lot of money and are now enjoying a very nice retirement.

Of course, what Cooper has excelled at is being able to be a club man. He keeps his trap shut, toes the company line and doesn't run to the press when internal decisions aren't deemed to be in his favour. Maybe that's just naivety by a relatively inexperienced coach, I dunno, but it's certainly been to our benefit since he came in.

He did an excellent job managing the press with regards to the transfers in. Regardless of personal opinion he was wholly supportive of the strategy and showed excellent loyalty to the ownership in that regard.

Don't think anything went on did it between October 2021 when Cooper arrived and May 2022 when we got promoted.

2 ways to look at that.
One way is that stuff goes on behind the scenes, always has always will, but when we are winning games it doesnt get noticed.
2nd way is that last season mistakes that were made previously were in some ways rectified, negative influences were marginalised and low and behold the atmosphere improved and results along with it.
Up to you which you think it is. By the way nffc93 I think to call it madness is a bit strong, maybe eccentricities is best?

To add to the above I liked today’s article because it showed both sides of Marinakis, he is undoubtedly a colourful individual which is one of the reasons behind his success.
If we had a beige in the background owner, or worse a faceless eastern consortium, I feel certain that we would still be a plodding Championship club. Definitely there would be a lot less to write about on here!
