I wondered about the rotate the pitch option too, also could potentially buy the bit of land between the ground and Lady Bay bridge, seems to be ised as a storage depot and environment agency building? We missed an opportunity with the Riverside development for sure, there was definitely something fishy about the JJMoores bid though.

Any development like this would mean a total rebuild, not sure if that is financially or logistically feasible.

I know this looks like it’s done by a 12 year old but it illustrates what I mean. The width of the pitch allows a higher Bridgford stand without creating the right to light issue. 

I am genuinely confused as to why this isn’t an option?

I like the general abstract blue print in the pic'.  

Radical idea, for me, is to let the Taylor Stand over hang the river in a cantilever style idea.  Up, and back over the river.   One wild idea I have is to build right over the river and create a river pavilion...to the other side. Lean back the upper tiers on all sides...use vaulted supports underneath.

Same with A Block.  Use the width of the pitch to shuffle across.  More room for Bridgeford to go up higher with 'right to light' not as much of a problem.  BC Stand does need modernising. Could it have done better with it's two tier design?

Phased rebuild.

It just needs innovative construction.  It's a world famous location.  To keep it...and boost attendance capacity requires innovation.  But Forest now have first class ownership.  Let's see what they can come up with. Put it out to tender. Maybe get Norman Foster involved.

35-40k.  Should be on the cards, filling in the corners as we phase construction around the ground.  Taylor Stand could be the 1st part of a re-invented design.  Modular rebuild and see the finished product over four or so years.

If we get promoted to the Premier League it's money would offset the loss in attendance for each stand.
