I dont think for one minute that we will be any competition for PL sides when it comes to attracting players, but there is no reason to think we cannot compete with clubs in our league.
The fact that there has been more outgoing than incoming is no surprise; we have fringe players we need to move on; its certainly not the case that we need to sell before buying, unless EM is flat broke which he clearly is not.
As for attracting wow signings; I dont think anyone expected Joe Lolley to be a wow signing when he joined.
