Theodore Giannikos appointed as new CEO:
Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce the appointment of Theodore Giannikos as Chief Executive Officer, effective from September 1, 2026.
Theodore will lead the Club’s strategic direction and oversee the delivery of its long-term ambitions, both on and off the pitch.
He brings more than 20 years of senior-level experience across international football, together with extensive legal, governance and business development expertise.
Most recently, Theodore served as Director of Strategic Partnerships & Media Projects at FIFA, having previously held the positions of Director of Legal Strategic Projects and Director of Member Associations Services during a decade at world football’s governing body.
Prior to joining FIFA, Theodore spent nine years at Olympiacos, serving as Vice President and Board Member. He also served as an Executive Board Member of the European Club Association (ECA) from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, he served as a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) arbitrator, as a member of various UEFA committees and as a Board Member of European Leagues.
Theodore is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has extensive experience across a wide range of business sectors, having lived and worked in several countries both within and outside Europe.
