Yes this is where I am at.
Plus why do all the new recruits have to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
Omari, Bakwa, McAtee, Cunha, Jesus, Kalimuendo and Savona are all very young and are investments for the future. Nobody said that they would go straight into the team and be first choice starters.
It's investing in good young and upcoming talent.
What is wrong with that?
The concerning thing is that up to yesterday, with the exception of possibly Jesus and an ever improving but initially poor Savona, NONE of the new recruits have had much of an impact. When these lads are costing £30m+ each that's a concern.
That is the going rate now though Pap.
I mean look at Brighton who some think we should follow (maybe we have).
They spent about 70M on a couple of young Greek lads.
Does anyone even know their names?
They have barely played for the same reason that they are young up and coming talents.
So when Brighton do it we should be like them but when we do it it's wrong?
Yes, Brighton can get stuff wrong. I'm not going to take any lessons from a club that paid £10m for sheep shagging clogger Erin Cashin :Up Yours:
