Not having a pop at you CF but we spent nigh on 25 years trying to get back in the PL and nigh on 30 years trying to get bqack into Europe.

We finally achieve it and now it's a distraction and some want us to get knocked out?

You couldn't make it up!

Thank God it didn't look like a distraction to the players and staff against Porto who absolutely lapped it up and loved it.

If we don't embrace the Euro run and just care about league games, it'll be a pretty depressing season!

I agree, what's the point of working so hard to qualify to not take it seriously just because we've had a bad start. 

It is worth noting we've had the three hardest EL games already so perhaps we won't need to be playing as strong a team or even if we do be putting in as big a shift if we are controlling a a game. A lot went into that Porto game.
