So sad about this, until March, last season was the best for me since 94/95. (Promotion season was of course incredible, too.)

I never thought I’d see the day again that we’d beat Liverpool away, beat United and Spurs home and away, beat City and qualify for Europe. Beyond my dreams.

But post March, our form was awful. Leicester at home was almost unforgivable (not sure I’ll ever fully recover from that shock). The outbursts in the media. Seemingly downing tools vs West Ham. There was just no coming back from that.

I truly gutted, but not surprised.

Yes it is a shame but not surprising at all.  It was coming and everyone knew it even if they did not want to admit it to themselves.
