Had a nose at Wolves season in Europa (obvious parallels) they finished 7th again that season despite playing thursday - sunday they got a higher points tally, although they missed out on qualifying for the Europa again that season losing to Chelsea on the final day of the season...
They failed to win in first 6 matches in the PL however as they came to grips playing the qualifiers in Europe beating Pyunik and then Torino and losing to Braga. they didnt win a game in EPL or the cup until 28 September.
I think thats going to be the thing, the initial adjustment.
Was that Nuno's side, or had he left by then?
