Any new updates on this? It seems that Forest are going to present a revised planning application to Rushcliffe Borough Council again - not sure why.

This whole process has been ridiculous and it seems we're not any closer to actually seeing any work taking place.

Technically the club dont actually have planning permission yet and never have. They obtained a resolution to approve from the planning committee subject to a Section 106 being negotiated between the council and the club. S106's can take ages to sort out and this has been no exception albeit things do seem to have been protracted what with covid, Toton, the purchase of the site and the discussions with all three councils involved.

As far as I'm aware the S106 has now been agreed (or its close) but it's taken so long to do so the council feel it appropriate to re-submit the entire application as a lot of the specialist reports and inputs have expired and needed renewing. I'm sure it'll be approved again this time around but there is a proper process to go through and this is it happening.
