Taiwo was an embarrassment. Crying and looking over to the bench rather than getting on with it. Wearing the red shirt paid thousands a week, not even trying to get in position. He clearly told the physio he was ok to play. Get on with it. Other players were pissed at him too. Yes, he may have cracked a rib, and it is horrendous pain. But looking at the bench pleading to come off rather than looking to contribute is unacceptable.

Many will disagree with this opinion, of course. Always a legend for his first season with us. We wouldn't be here now if it was not for his goals but come on.

He was passed fit by the medical team but looking back he clearly had a more serious injury.  Completely take that comment back.
