How about knocking down the council house and building a ground in the Square, cant get more central then that!

Unfortunately we’ve missed a few opportunities to rebuild in a central location which I think most fans would find acceptable. I think with imagination it could have been possible to put a stadium at the Broadmarsh site develop it into a multi purpose leisure and commercial area. Would have needed too many people to let go of their preconceptions that football fans cause problems in city centres though.
