There is some talk now about that large piece of land close to the Memorial Gardens on the Embankment, next to and perhaps even including those football pitches.

Now that could be a winner that keeps everybody happy.

Thats in flood zone 3, so a high possibility of flooding. Be a right struggle getting planning on that.

It has been proposed by a councillor though.

I presume he did his home work first before proposing it.

I wouldn't bet on that.
