For me it is very simple, if Forest want to compete in Europe, they need significantly higher revenues and multiple revenue streams.
Attendance and associated match day revenue are one of those streams.
Non-match day revenue is crucial to bolstering the financial stability of the club.
If this cannot be achieved at the present location then alternative must be sought.
I'd be perfectly happy to take over the Nottinghamshire Sports Club next door, if they can be convinced to move.
I'd even go so far as to say they should be obliged to move in the financial interests of the city and the level of redevelopment that could be achieved on the south bank of the Trent with a mega project like a new City Ground would support.
Maybe they should move to Toton.
