Personally think no 6 is the most likely. This is afterall what appears to have resulted in AK's departure.
We still don't know what resulted in AKs departure, apart from fall-out between him and owners. To suggest it's because of DOF is still speculation.
The 'smoke' clouds of his departure indicate that he wasn't happy with the new background figures (eg. They came in? They came into the changing room? They sat on the bench at a match? They blocked his transfers based upon an inconsistent non-top 6 progress report?)
Along with the muted 'two walk outs?'
Promotion in 2.5 years vs Promotion now. (That was a clear differentiator based upon what Aitor said in one of his final interviews vs what the club have been saying all season.)
It looks like a '...difference of opinions, Geoffrey.' (The 'last minute' last ditch talks before he finally did walk by 'mutual' agree to release from contract.
Keane can be no less prickly. But then. Any strong manager is going to clash with the owners at some point. Keane is a strong character. So is Martin.
