The Infrastructure Projects

I've read this morning that Toton is being discussed next week by the County Council as a new site for the City Ground.
What do people who know the area think of that?
As long as it's next to the river I think I'd be happy... not that I get to go very often.

The road infrastructure in that part of the County is dreadful. 

The Long Eaton -> Beeston -> Nottingham road cannot cope as it is. 

Junction 25 tends to struggle during rush hour, particularly if there is an accident on the M1 between 21 and 27.
