These new financial rules, spending capped at 70% of revenue...we can't compete. Less matchday revenue, less Asian fans, less sponsorship, no European revenue. And hard to break in from below. Lack of competition kills sport, but that's for another day. Given the ridiculous rules, how do we increase our revenue?
Be hard to convert Asia to support Forest without being in Europe. Need help from the stadium. Would also say we're shooting ourselves in the foot by having loads of fans locked out of attending. And I don't think a 40k stadium is enough, this should be planning for the next generation. Build it, affordable ticket prices, and they will come. Is there a site by the river we can get close by to retain the feeling?
What about the Eastcroft area, just over the river. Literally put Meadow Lane in the shadow of our ground.
