Danilo and MGW together are going to form some creative sparks. It is no coincidence we have scored a lot more goals since Danilo has come back in to the team. I'm going to enjoy every minute of him because if he carries on producing the performances he is he will not be here long.

I wish there was some way of shoe horning Scarpa in there too cos the creativity from the 3 of them would be scary. Unfortunately I think the team would have to suffer as a whole to do that

I think Scarpa (when fit) would be the backup for MGW who tbf to him as played pretty much every game this year along with Jonno, the fitness of youth!

Yeah I agree, it's a shame. I suppose the only other way to do it would be a 4-2-3-1 with Scarpa, MGW & Jonno in the 3 but that would be very lightweight up top & leave a 2 man midfield very exposed. It would also restrict Danilo's storming runs into the box which is a big NO!! Anyway it's not a this season issue & thankfully not my problem to solve lol

Great post Wrexham Red. Everything you say about that formation is true. While it would be an all out attacking 3 and would allow Scarpa to play in his natural position out wide, it would definitely leave us vulnerable in midfield and restrict Danilo's abilities to maraud forward which has been so nice to see. As you say, that's an issue for next season.
