A side view of the old Trent End taken in the 1980's.

Great photo, if you zoom in you can almost feel the atmoshere in there, when I first went in the Trent End there weren't any fences, so you you could walk across the whole width, so many happy memories!

As a smallish teenager in the 60's I remember leaving the Trent End from the far end shown in the pic. It was a very tight squash and my feet never touched the ground until we got to the river towpath.
