Reading some of your comments PPS you would think that we had been relegated to League 2, placed in a transfer embargo, lost our training ground, put into administration and the club was on the verge of going bust. Get a f*****g grip.

relegation, we must be among the favorites, teams who fail don't plan to fail, this wasn't the plan, but did the club fail to plan?  It is a replica scenario from last season and feels like all optimism has disappeared already, it has for me and i can't see anything that gives me any confidence in the season ahead.

transfer embargo, well as of now and the last 3 months we might as well of been in a transfer embargo, don't get me wrong less is more in many ways, prefer 3 or 4 really good signings to loads of players, but upto now it is a virtual transfer embargo.  If anything the squad is weakened, we gone from bloated with dross to very weak, so far.

Training, do we train for anything?  Seems the exact approach to games as of 60 games ago, seen anything new?  nope

Administration, at least then you know where your at, we don't know, do we pretend the club are gonna splash £10m or even £5m?  Considering it's the start of the season, it would be much better if we were limping over the line at the end, but we are limping into a full blowin campaign on empty, this is how it seems.  Do we blame FFP, do the owners want to throw £20m at the squad but not allowed?  I don't know.

At this moment in time, whatever the objectives for the club are, i conclude it is a failure, as of now, hopefully this is the low point, the turning point, but things are much more difficult now due to indecisiveness and very poor and a total neglect of basic common sense foresight

On the pitch things are at rock bottom, however from a financial perspective the owners have acquired the ground, got the cat A and close to getting planning permission, reduced to the wage bill to rock bottom, it could be a good time to sell though being bottom of the league is something they maybe didn't think to address/avoid

You mean, being 'prepped' for sale?  Or listening to offers?  If Mari got a really good offer?  Lots of 'ifs' there. I don't see it. Though Randall and co make it clear they're only the custodians of the club for a time whilst they're here.

It could equally be re-interpreted as what we've been doing hasn't been working and it's part of the off the field progression of restructuring.

You look at what Mari' has done at Oly' and have think he's a keeper who doesn't walk away from a project.  Oly' is superb from what I've seen of it.  There's no reason that transformation can't happen at Forest.  It's underway.  And it has Mari's ambition and fingerprints over it.  I think it's a good future.  It will be short term pain though.

Forest thought they could do it quickly and it 'almost' worked with Aitor but that combusted.  Some wanted a CEO or a new one and we have that.  A progressive appointment. Seems with a view of picking up talent (and selling at max value after developed.  A bit like Southampton's business model?). We have two stand out signings in Garner and Zinc. But it's not enough, clearly.

FFP limits what Forest can do vs Premiership Parachute payments.  So the CEO, the Manager, recruitment and the academy are important keystones.  Of those, we're just waiting for recruitment to catch up with the installation of the new CEO.  Mari has tried to change it up, to be fair.  Mr. V gave it four years and has taken a step back.  He's still a director?

I don't see Mari' walking away. He doesn't seem that kind of character to me. I'm glad we have him as the owner. Forest are a world wide brand. He knows that. Forest will rake it in if they can just get promoted.
