There is a developer looking to build a 50,000 multi-use stadium in the city centre and trying to get backing from NFFC.

A flat packed souless stadium similar to the King Prawn stadium and the sheep dip? No thanks, I would sooner stay at the most picturesque location in British sport with its ageing stands, history and atmosphere every day of the week!!

But... and only playing devils advocate here... what if a move would provide opportunities that staying in the current location can’t. We know there are limits to our current site and it may be that we will never be able to achieve our potential financially as a club where we are now.

What if staying where we are means we will never be able to move above mediocre. Yes we can build a stand (apparently) but what about everything else that goes with a new ground, the additional forms of income.

None of us want to move but we all also want success and a financially stable club. The delay may be because they may have come to the realisation that our potential can not be reached where we are now.
