EM has alot of motivation for getting kids involved in sport, the whole olympics type thing as well, sport having unlimited possibilities to give hope to those with no hope, i read up on him alot a while ago

Regards Forest i'm not to bothered about happy smiley chairmen who want and need to be liked, i don't think Marinakis is like that which i think is a good thing, though besides reading up on his love for football and sport I haven't really heard him speak much, just little post match snippets.

Anyway, i just think if he could get us to adopt a principled way of playing, maybe get players more incentive based contracts, more focus on the academy but ultimately on high possession and high end product, ultimate football if you like, i'm not sure as cheating, diving, time wasting seems neccessary to prosper but maybe we could adopt a very high integrity code, any player who gets a yellow forfeits his weeks wage to charity type thing

Having said that, pre covid, the City ground had been almost sold out week in week out for the last couple of years, maybe he could increase prices to fund the above commitments, people might pay more to get a better product, or even just the pursuit of a better product, exciting players, PL, but something that raises the bar and adds uniqueness and a distinct quality identity.

Either way, in the meantime i hope he pops by the training ground and tells the players how it really is
