Look at how Doughty took offence to a demonstration in the car park against him and then what followed. After all the money the guy pumped in it must've really felt like a kick in the knackers.
The players need to step up, win a few games and get us going. That is all.
Agreed Pap and it's kind of the point that I have been trying to get across now for a few weeks.
It's doing no good at all in fact I'd say it's harming the club big time and it's even filtering through to performances by the looks of it.
I know that Vrentzos is not perfect and I don't come on here to defend him, I come on here to try to make the point that it isn't doing the club any good at all by having journalists and twitter campaigns etc complaining about him and trying to get him removed. It will probably all end in tears just like it did with Doughty and Arthur and we all know what happened after that. If EM decides he's had enough and he decides to sell the club then I seriously fear for our future.
So players, journalists and fans etc need to step up and rise above it and start giving their all for this football club.
Think you make some good points here Sniff.
I do think there are big questions over Ventroz & how much involved he is with the footballing side of things, but that said you're points about Doughty are true too. Personally I'd just like to see Hughton backed & a stop to these random imports, as a sign we're entrusting the football to those who know about football.
Just to add a counter point though, Fazza also decided to sell up and we moved forward for that, so that's worth baring in mind if EM does leave.
