If the players get tired or injured then rests dip. Winter transfer window is the absolute reason weve faded. Who was responsible for that needs sacking, not the manager. You have a point about Jan but as you ve said yourself, we only have one way of playing and that’s cost us over the season
thats down to the manager
The manager cant play attacking football when we have 1 striker in the club. Thats an absolute shambles of a situation. Its not his fault unless the decisons not to buy was his, which i doubt.

thats down to the manager We may only have one way of playing - but how many points have we thrown away as a result of underestimating the opposition? The big man will be asking some searching questions.

I don't know Brentford have also completely collapsed, I can't really see them recovering.
Losing a couple of games after winning eight on the bounce is perhaps a bit more acceptable.

Totally agree we were in a great place and that was the time to strengthen, but we just don't seem to have financial room due to FFP.
4 of the top 6 are receiving parachute payments of 30-odd or 40-odd million.
Our total revenue is only 25 million.
Leeds' is 49million.
Only Brentford outperformed us considering that.
We need to offload the players that aren't contributing but costing big wages, i.e. 1 million a year for Pantilimon, and all the others, Clough, Hef, Benalouane etc and wheel & deal and find some gems in the summer.

Agreed, but doesn't make it any easier to actually get up for the playoffs, particularly with the short turn around.

Rode our luck all season playing boring 1 dimensional Football, however I didnt expect it to bite us on the arse this spectacularly. Ironically we played alright until we started to deliberately slow the game down.
Not sure what happens with Sabri, knowing EM's track record a change wouldn't surprise me, however he's dragged decent results out of an ordinary bunch. Needs to adapt his Foorball though.

you have to have a plan B he might not buy the players but he identifies what style of player

The Barnsley game was an embarrassing piece of management. Completely on him that one. Just a crazy decision to change formation like that, to a difficult tactic to play. No excuse for that for me, was much more angry then than now

Talking about this game in isolation for a moment we were back in it at one all playing free flowing attacking football then decide to waste time and keep ball, why?
Who’s decision was that?
Steve Hodge was “lapping it up” while I’m screaming at my iPad to go and get a second.
It was embarrassing.
And once Stoke scored we couldn’t get going again.
We hadn’t taken the impetus out of the match, we took it out of our own performance.
