To be fair Leeds well stocked at right back.
Don’t see that as genuine...what they have is just as good if not better than Byram

Little Byram update of sort from Alan Nixon:

Forest. Byram. Clubs sorting out loan. West Ham would like a new player in first for their defence. But big chance Byram move goes through to Forest.

*Fingers crossed. Guess that's the thing with a few of the names being mentioned from Fabio, Byram, Soudani. They're in the process of being 'sorted.' Some 'seem' to happen quickly others seem to drag on.

(West Ham want a new player in first before they agree to loan? Same thing with Pants..? Watford want another GK in first. How many players in depth do Premier teams like to have. Pants is 4th choice there and they still want a keeper in before they sell?)

Not sure what’s that’s all about. West Ham have already signed a replacement right back in Fredericks from Fulham earlier in the summer. That’s him and Zabaleta for their right back slot and think they have someone else as well who played a lot last year

That's a good call Widdow - forgot they'd signed Fredericks.

Not as far as I've been told. More likely to be Friday/Saturday. Would rather it sooner though so he could maybe play some part against Bournemouth.

Wouldn't surprise me if we are looking for a loan with an option to buy but WH wants to sell.

Well, my mate of questionable reliability reckons that Byram's medical is due for today and the hold up has been getting a permanent deal sorted. Hope he's right on both counts.

That may explain the hold up.

Medical today?  Fingers crossed.*

This is an absolutely critical signing for me, we have to strengthen that defense.

It is a crucial signing to add more real quality and balance to the back line. Adding real strength to a back line of Figs, Dawson and Robinson....and Pants. That's a big upgrade over where Forest were this time last year?

Seems imminent. It's gone quiet.

But Karanka, care of the NEP, wanted the RB sorted by the weekend.

Won't happen in time for Bournemouth, it seems.
