I suppose we have had a few pretty good ones too, like Louis-jean, Brennan etc. but 6 top class signings out of how many overseas signings in total? Not a great "strike rate" that we have.
That said I hope Carvalho will be joining those 6 in a year or two.

Always thought that Alfie Haaland had a decent time with us, nothing outstanding but a good solid player.

brian roy first season was oustanding.

Watching Roy with Collymore steaming through a terrified Man Utd defence was a sight to behold.

PVH was outstanding in the promotion year too, by far the best player in the division , he scored 30 that year and always looked like he could have scored 60 if he had ever got out of 3rd gear.

Alfie Haaland was from Norway too so most of our top signings from abroad have come from Holland and Norway.

Our Italian signings have all been a disaster.

Yes, I remember Segers, he wasn't great but he had a hard act to follow after Shilton and Van Breaukelen, Segers got repalced by Steve Sutton.

one day in training haaland was marking stan. and haaland kept on standing on stans toes niggling him.

stan gave him a warning, next time you do that i will deck you.

next ball got lumped to stan and haaland did it again. stan turner around and decked him infront of everybody.
