The Premier League 2025/26
If the season goes as we dream perhaps we will be able to return the favour when we play Bournemouth on the final day....

Exactly, I said that a few pages ago. We can not determine  what other teams do and nor should we. We just have to do what we do and try our best to get points and results we need.

Deliberate or not it suited Villa. They basically need 3 points for CL and still have to play Burnley. They rotated, they know we can’t rotate as much both due to injuries and our league position and they come at us fresh on Thursday fuelled by Emery’s VAR injustice rant.

Whatever happens be bloody lovely if we were safe for Bournemouth and play our under 11s letting them sneak into 5th

The most I can see West ham getting is 42 points, current predicted total is 40 and then spurs I would say the best they will get is 44 but the current expected points is 41. We have a great chance to make ourselves safe or one point closer to safety tonight so we should forget about others and the euro semifinal. Just go all out this match and afterwards we can assess Thursdays match. If I had to pick I would take premiership safety over the cup this time and give ourselves a summer to regroup and sort out stuff before going a fresh in the next season. If we do both then bonus but the premiership games are the priority.

The only caveat to this is that Villa have been in relatively poor form lately. Their fans aren’t happy with Emery’s decision and they’ve struggled to score goals. In some ways they are similar to us last year where their league position was massively helped by a really good run and they’re now tailing off. They massively overperformed their xG and scored a lot of long shots, so they’re not a particularly clinical side. Need to hope we can get a result today and go into that game with more momentum than Villa

Incredibly nervous for today. What a week this could be. Feels history defining. Go unbeaten and we could be about to make history. Lose all three and we could be staring into the abyss.

They rolled over last night. Their fans are furious and when every result matters so much, I think every forest fan that’s p*ssed off is justified.

All changes again if we get something today, but I expected more from Villa to at least try to play.

Exactly this. They didn’t remotely try. No pressing, no intensity at all, lack of tackling, sprinting, everything, all sorts of metrics they were woeful on. they were basically bottom of the league all season for shots, touches in the opposition box etc until the last few minutes. They threw it.

I hate Villa - doesn’t help living deep in their territory but the arrogance is real. Hope this comes back to bite them in the arse…

Everton just gone into the lead at city, a loss which would ease the pressure on Arsenal who play West Ham next

Everton leading Man City 2-1. That should motivate Arsenal nicely for Sunday.

Or they feel comfortable enough to throw the game to help spurs go down

Not a chance.

And it's 3-1 now!
