Being realistic not gloomy, think its too early to dismiss this thread.
That 3rd spot looks wide open to me and we need to show more spine than in the last few away performances to avoid it.

Needed to drag more teams into it and last night we couldn’t manage it.
Also think the hope of moving up the table out of the relegation battle has also gone, looking at Jan fixtures.
Leeds resurgence hasn’t helped.
If West Ham put a run together, think we are in big trouble.

West Ham next four games are Fulham (H), Brighton (H), Wolves (A), Forest (H).
You've got to assume they will pick up some points there. With us playing City, Arsenal and Villa in next few suspect we might end up back in the bottom 3 depending on how that game West Ham goes.
West Ham away, first game against Nuno, that game is just so massive for the rest of our season.

Nuno will do a number on us and beat us. By that time they'll have closed the gap.
We'll back in that bottom 3 by Jan

We have another 19 games to go and need 22 points. Wood and Aina to come back in plus some tinkering - I’m confident we will be ok. Away form is a worry as is our own inconsistency. We will be OK and I expect some strange results all over the place in next 8 games- see where we are at end of Jan…

Well i hope lightning doesn't strike twice but in 92/93 we won 1-4 at the current League Champions Leeds Utd but still managed to get relegated , what with us winning at Liverpool 0-3 let's hope we don't have the same demise.
