Well he got Cunha in the first place because EM pointed him out and could offer the path to the EPL, if you take that interview at face value.
But it’s fuel to the media, I don’t know why Textor would make the comments at all.

Ah, ok, if that's the deal then you can see why that would be attractive to Textor.
Every time Textor opens his gob bad things happen.

I sincerely hope EM never offers this idiot a stake in the club or on our board. He has his uses from the outside but he is a walking disaster and the clubs his ownership platform is riddled with debt.

Maybe because of his mum.

Yes.
It's a private and personal matter which we will of course respect.

There has been some discussion as to Edu’s role and responsibility. Of course if credit is due he should take it, also if things go wrong he is ultimately responsible.
“Nottingham Forest is proud to announce the appointment of Edu Gaspar as Global Head of Football, a newly established leadership role overseeing football operations.
As Global Head of Football, Edu will oversee all football-related functions, including recruitment, performance, squad strategy, and player development.“

Thing is that he has only been here 5 minutes.
To oversee all that listed above needs much more time.
I would also add that if EM thought that Edu was not doing a good job then he would have no hesitation in dismissing him.
Give him a couple of years before judging him because now is far too early. Granted he hasn't made a great start in his new job but how many of us have been guilty of that? Even the great Brian Clough got off to a terrible start as did Alex Ferguson.
Can we please give him a fair amount of time before having him paraded and hung in the market square.
