We shouldn’t get as many turning as down because they want a big 6 team or a London club. It does bring its own risk, big headed players on big money who will lose interest should we fail to progress in the competition and want away.
Our success this season is built on team spirit and the over achievement of the collective squad. We cannot allow that to be thrown away by any bad attitudes. However yes we should be at last able to attract some serious talent.
I honestly believe we'll still not be taken seriously by the very top players because most of them will feel our champions league campaign will be a one year only adventure. I think maybe that could be true.
I don't think we'll ever be able to attract the Haalands of this world. I'd like to think we'd have more chance of the Isaks though (as in before Newcastle signed him rather than now).

It's the only way provincial clubs like ours can be successful. I really worried that we mind find ourselves in Leicester's shoes from a few years ago which was having a top wage bill but not the big city club finances to sustain it.
When Leicester are relegated the EFL are going to go after them for previous PSR offences and they're then caught in a psr death spiral. I can see them in League 1 in 2027.

The helicopter crash played a big roll in Leicester's downfall.
Anyway this is the Europe thread and the closest Leicester are going to get to European football is a preseason friendly against Limerick.

Surely got 4 wins in us based on the whole seasons form.

In the first half of the season, against the nine teams we have left to play we beat eight of them and drew with Chelsea.
Palace and Everton are better than when we played them and our away record at Spurs and West Ham is dreadful, but even so you'd hope we can win four or five of what we have left at least.

Leicester, one of Man Utd or Brentford, one of Spurs/West Ham, one of Palace or Everton and then Chelsea, job done.

I'd rather us get to the Chelsea game with everything already done and dusted.

Think Bournemouth, Villa and Fulham are now out of the running for CL as would take some turn of form for them to get the estimated points required.
