We see this time and time again................ complacency. An almost superior complex which really does boil my piss!!

I sincerely hope Nuno is the man to get this attitude out of their system.

Got to give a big shout out to Nuno Tavares. He was outstanding when he came on.

Yep, we'll stick his name on the 'wasted opportunity' list.

What is the general consensus on Tavares' performance today? He made a positive contribution i feel. And he's a bit of a unit isn't he? Id gave him a start for the replay and provide him with a real pportunity to impress.

And whats the consensus on Vlad?. Played 6, 14 conceded now and yet today was another game where he probably couldn't do much about the goals he let it. Is he just the unluckiest keeper we've ever had?

For one thing he could organise his defence which made for a good impression of statues for both goals. Totally unacceptable display from the entire defence. Montiel gifted the first and was nowhere near where he should have been for the second.

He's not unlucky. In fact, I think he is very lucky to be at a premier league club.

His dive across the ball for the second goal was woeful. His initial positions are poor. Decent with his feet, but we will continue to concede a lot of goals if he plays as our number one. Turner has critical faults too; his positioning and kicking are not good enough.

We must prioritise a new goalkeeper in January. Neither of the current two are close to good enough.

Treat the replay as another pre-season friendly, I wonder if he’s thought about arranging something else as well during this break?

He’ll have a lot of information about what this team without the afcon players is about

He was good going forward which we were told. We were also told he is suspect defensively which we don’t know for sure because he wasn’t remotely tested today although literally the first thing he dod was give away a clumsy free kick in a dangerous area. Agreed he offered far more than Toff going forward but would you trust him as LB against a PL side?

Some very poor performances today- sorry sniff but that keeper is absolutely pants. He didn’t communicate at all, stuck on his line for the first and very poor positioning for the second. He also nearly chucked one in at the end too.
Poor
Montiel: at fault for the first - what was he thinking? Culpable for the second too. Did help his cause with the assist. Played OK second half- mixed bag.
Worrall: poor - let a league 1 footballer have too much space for the goal. Held onto the ball and didn’t move it anywhere near quick enough to start attacks. Also looked half arsed and didn’t communicate with Murillo at all - unlike Niakhate does.
Murillo- not great at all today- was glad Rhodes went off as he was schooling him. Went missing for both goals too.
Toffollo: was getting rinsed in the air and trace the first goal back to him. Didn’t offer much the other way
Yates- not a great player when we have the ball against poorer teams. And should have scored with a header near the end.
Danillo - looks a shadow today of what he has been
CHO- a bit of a mardy arse. Was complaining that much when on the right that Nuno moved him. Combined well second half with Taveres.
Dominguez- our best player today but not a right winger
MGW- what a goal - busy but flicks started again
Wood- poor finishing today - should have had 2
Tavares- played very well and is a unit. Would mind him having a go as a right inverted winger if needs must.
Williams - will always do a job but not sure if he has enough to be a forward option.

What has mangala done? Shagged Nunos Mrs?

Partly to blame for first as has no natural reactions on the header that went in. when the first cross was floated in 8 out 10 times the keeper comes out and claims it but so flat footed and didn't seem to read the cross at all.
Second one he dived for the cross but pulled his arms in, if the arm is stretched then he gets it. But he lets it go back post and then has to come scrabbling to get over there.
Just seems he has no idea where he is in the goal and doesn't have reflexes.

One thing Forest haven’t mastered is beating someone with a lot of possession
But on another day Wood gets 2/3
Poor finishing let us done
At least we are in the hat on Monday night

Bit harsh on the first? Surely Montiel just has to back header it out for a corner?

This has to be Nuno's biggest priority - winning a game whilst dominant in posession. The reply might be a good thing in that regard. It allows Nuno to challenge the players to go out and dominate a game.
