To be fair to DT at that time there was much frustration with the capitulation and then scattergun approach. Ventroz was seen as the devil incarnation.
Didn’t similar happen at Oly with Ventroz? Is his job to sort out the lay of the land and EMs plan A? Does he clear the decks and play the role of bad guy? I’m very happy with our progress under Dane but is this too simplistic? Does ventroz deserve more credit? Also Kyriakos Dourekas- I hear he is absolutely loved by all at the club- a real good guy who ‘enables’. Obviously easier to be positive at the moment
