Evangelos Marinakis And Co
I think that in moving Vrentroz out and Murphy in, the owners have shown they are at least learning from their mistakes.

But they have made a lot of footballing mistakes, and that was apparent from the second they sacked Warbs for AK, and spunked fortunes on Caravlho & Soudani. Two players who I doubt any promotion manager would have even considered at the time, never mind spent 16m on.

I don't think the club has been coasting though Paplane, I think it's taken it's time over restructuring, and rightly so tbh.

We would certainly have saved an awful lot of money on hiring and paying off all of the above managers and their back room teams.

yes Salv, i saw a few of the posts, i don't know how to describe Warburton, except i liked him being manager, even last season he picked up some good wins and shocking losses but he seems to have a bit of a 'paradigm' ways of thinking.  I was sort of happier having Psycho as manager in that 'if we are going to lose i would always be rooting for him to turn it round' he'd try everything.  We had to respect M O N and Keane and they possibly would of forced some sort of progress.  But for long term i always thought Warburton was possibly the best option, he'd got the push from Brentford, being successful but not in the right way, which made him interesting.  Plus his time in the city, he played with alot of money and data, all through the night, he's an obsessive, i just think he would find answers none of us would see.
Either way, there's been a few good men been kicked out the club in recent times, Hughton is a decent bloke, and considering like Alf said, he's not made 1 permanent signing of his own in a year, that is plain weird for a '40 players in and out in 18 months' or a '10 in a day' type club we have been in recent times.
There's a point where i am asking what am i supporting here, it's all a mystery to me and a few good people i liked have been given a rough ride.
The secrecy i don't like, no explanations or apology or feeling that we deserve to know about the strange goings on.

That is probably the worst comment ever written on this forum.

You know what? Maybe it's the fans that are the problem.

EM has done everything that you the fans have asked him to do so perhaps you should take a step back and think about that for a minute.

You are also forgetting something very important. If it wasn't for EM our club would be another Bury by now. I didn't see a line of people willing to buy the club off Fawaz.

Lol. The fans who have zero control or input.

Stop deflecting.

We finished 7th in the 2019/20 season.

A position of strength. We sell Cash and release Watson then press the panic button repeatedly whilst undermining the manager in front of the players which subsequently became national news.

Definitely the fans fault.

Yes our fans are great aren't they?

EM please sack Warbs - Tick.
EM get Karanka out - Tick
EM Tell Sabri to f**k off - Tick
EM you must get rid of Vrentzos - Tick

Everything you the fans asked for - Tick.

But yes lets blame EM.

Why don't you get your flags and banners out and get yourself down the main stand car park and have your little protest?

Go on I dare you...

So stop deflecting.

EM is not the problem here, we have just made terrible football appointments, the cash he has wasted doing so must be a fortune. Cat 1 status and the revamp of the ground will enable us to build on the future. The next managerial appointment is crucial. We have to step away from backward thinking managers and hire a more positive progressive manager.

We have just appointed defensive manager after the next. Time to change that philosophy and bring some excitement back to watching football at the city ground.

Agree with your first paragraph, doubtful of the second. We have burnt through 5 different managers already under EM. Agree about something exciting to watch would be good but whether that manger exists and can do it with the current squad Im not sure.

Sorry but can't blame owners on this. I can question them for sure about the type of manager they want because with the exception of warbs they have been defensive types. But they have backed the manager each time and tried to evolve the club and move it into the right direction. We have been playing catch up as a club for a lot longer than EM and their is no quick fix. Going to be a lot of hurt to get through if we want to sort ourselves out.

Everything "you fan's" asked for, so do you not class yourself as a fan?

If it wasn't for us fans there wouldn't be a club for  "us fans" to follow and support

EM is nothing more than a businessman, he's not a "fan" he is a businessman, a businessman that has made countless mistakes and continues to do so, you cannot lay the mistakes he has made as the owner of this club at the feet of     "us fan's"

I'm sorry sniff this isn't a personal pop at you and I know people are angry, but we all want the same thing and that is for our club to be successful on the pitch and since EM has been the owner we sadly aren't, I would say that this is the first time that I have been so angry with a manager of our club and want the owner/businessman to sack him.

After  watching that shite display last night a few of "us fans" are of the same thinking that EM is deliberately not giving CH the tools (splashing out the cash)
on the players that CH wants,  has he seen enough himself, is he thinking about binning CH or he has had enough of handing out the pennies, let's face facts CH is not going to bring us success, and everyone can see that the club is not prepared to spend any money in this transfer window.

So if the club is not prepared to spend then why is the owner/businessman not doing what we all know should happen and get rid off Hughton.

Yup that's right.... if you read my previous post you would see why I say that in more detail.

I like the current owner. I like what he stands for and the way he works.

I simply say no praise from me as when he took over we were fighting relegation. 4 years later we were fighting relegation.

All the off field stuff is well and good but it has been done so poorly when it comes to football. And to me this is the most important. We can have the best academy and best facilities in the world but if the team playing each week is fighting relegation on the championship then it's not good enough.

As I said previously praise should come once the team is where EM has stayed he wants it to be that's the goal.

I certain wouldn't get praise in my job if after 4 years the results were the same.

But hey you take it as an attack on your precious Greeks. They may well pump money in but let's be honest... if it hadn't been for all the poor signings, big wages, sacking of managers and short termism then they wouldn't have to spend so much. And before you chirp up... yes I want CH out but that's because he is wrong. I didn't want warbs sacked or karanka forced out. I wanted MON to have more time.
