The refereeing directives seem to change every couple of weeks. Some offsides were flagged straight away earlier in the season even if it was tight as Forest have had a couple onside that were flagged. Now they are not flagging a clear offside

PGMOL need to stop giving different instructions every week. The rule book needs to be updated in the summer and only the summer.

Also I have an issue with the semi-automated offside. When they show the image it isn’t in line. Every other league has it where it is in line but the PL don’t.

If i remember rightly the issue is the ball sponsor - Europe have Adidas which operates the system well, Nike are playing catch up

Ffs. I hate the bs with refs. The thing that took the shine off Sunday’s result for me was the penalty decisions. I had flashbacks to 2 seasons ago. On another day in another match that would have cost us the win. MOTD never even showed it, but we all knew we were denied a penalty more obvious than ones that get given, eg Leeds’ tonight. I desperately don’t want more of Taylor’s bs this season.

Was there any interest in the media in the ridiculous penalty decisions from our first match? Or that will be ignored. I watched MOTD and they didn’t even show our two.

Both were pens IMO. Problem was the useless VAR angle for our claim. I called pen to us from the TE 100 yards away though.
