I don't think it is as simple as that. I will take Sniffer's side of the story that Nuno needed a spat as an excuse to get paid off. I don't think Edu was to blame for that for all accounts. Reds73 and Sniffer are going to know more than me but I think it was a poison chalice last season and he simply arrived at the wrong time. Unless he was just dealing with his super agent mate KIA and not doing any transfer research. Who knows. Maybe we will get the full story one day but I think people working at the club didn't mind him at all. So bit harsh to blame him for all that happened. I blame Nuno and will continue to blame Nuno because I am pretty sure he was behind the nonsense at the beginning and everything snowballed after that.
Also did Edu have a choice in the managers? I am pretty sure he didn't want Ange or Dyche. Have no idea who brought Vitor in. I suspect all three we EM.

It seems now we've got a lot of the important off-the-field roles filled, so hopefully the incumbents can stay in position for a while now and help further grow and develop the club.
