Yes I agree. I think it shows that there was some disappointment with the result, because it could easily have been a win.

They certainly faded in the latter stages of the 2nd half.
Work has to be done on defensive cohesiveness when fatigue sets in, it was same with Leeds in the first game.
A far cry from the 1st two games though, huge improvement and some stand out performances.
Delap was revelationary; Awoniyi, Wood and Jesus all rolled into one.

Just got back, very enjoyable day out, not seen any of it back yet but first impressions.
Huge improvement and good performance all round, the system can work after all! My caveat is that I thought both Liverpool full backs were pretty poor which allowed us more room but it was great to see us cause so many problems first half.
McAtee looked really good in that role, although there may be more physical games that suit him less.
Ndoye much improved (yes i did still see an embarrassing dive, just stop it FFS!)
Neco MoM superb all round, Aina good too
Delap gives us something I haven’t seen in a Forest shirt for a heck of a long time, running forwards with the ball with genuine power, really encouraging.
Think we conceded both goals from similar positions? Something to work on if so but other than that we looked pretty solid, Jair did well for the most part.
Could have been a win but any team in the league is happy with a point at Anfield and we’re off the mark.

Both Williams and Aina played well in their new roles. Williams winning the pen and Aina setting up two golden chances. The goals we conceded though were down to Williams and Murillo not working together effectively.

Murillo seems a bit off it atm but guessing thats down to still getting up to speed after the injury.

He is. He obviously gets leeway that Morato wouldn’t. I love the guy but he does need to tighten up / get that relationship with Neco under a back 3 sorted.

Nottingham Forest should not have been awarded a penalty at Liverpool for Alisson's challenge on Neco Williams, the Premier League's Key Match Incidents Panel has said.
But the KMI Panel added that the decision did not reach the threshold for a video assistant referee intervention, so Michael Oliver was correct not to send referee Sam Barrott to the pitchside monitor.
Williams was brought down by Alisson after releasing a shot in the 68th minute.
Morgan Gibbs-White scored to put Forest 2-1 in front, before Victor Munoz secured a 2-2 draw for Liverpool with an 82nd-minute equaliser.
The KMI Panel voted 3:2 that Barrott should not have given the penalty, but supported the VAR outcome 5:0.
It is possible for the panel to judge them differently because a VAR intervention has a higher threshold than an on-field decision.
"The contact from Alisson was inevitable as a consequence of his momentum in attempting to save the ball," the KMI Panel said. "The contact made was not reckless and below the threshold for a penalty.
"However, the non intervention by the VAR was unanimously supported on the basis that it was not a clear and obvious error."

This sums up the fundamental problem with VAR. - it solves absolutely nothing.
Liverpool fans are now moaning the Ref didn’t go to the monitor and that they don’t want the on pitch threshold for VAR to be as high as “clear and obvious”.
Or Forest fans after the Spurs game moaning that the handball shouldn’t have been over turned as the threshold for VAR overturn wasn’t high enough.
The whole thing is a mess because it is too inconsistent. Leave it to one person in the middle of the pitch. Sometimes we will get an idiot who makes a wrong call but at least it will just be that one ref on the day. At least it will stop the endless replays and people demanding explanations.
Let me actually celebrate a goal again.Give us our game back.
