It’s from corners.

I highlighted this in one of the home games recently when people were criticising his lack of contribution.

Edit - it was the Crystal Palace match thread, albeit I don’t know how to directly quote the post.

Wood wins Premier League Player of the Month. The first time a Forest player has won it!

Just want to point out that Elanga’s corners first half were very good and our most consistent creator of chances. That said the rest of his contribution was largely ineffective.

I suspect that Jota will come him for him on Friday and rightly so.

Murillo is a concern for me, the number of unforced errors he makes are too high for him to play at a higher level than he is now.

I see that there is some criticism of brining on Williams and Morato but it was much needed with Mateta replacing Nketiah. Moreno was struggling to move freely and we needed some strength to compete with their beast of a centre forward.

There you go

Brill, thanks.

Congrats to both Chris and Nuno, they thoroughly deserve recognition for what they've done.

I'm not a massive fan of these monthly awards to be honest, they don't really mean much but we'll take them.

50% right. But just goes to show you just never know. This popped up when my fat fingers clicked on this thread on 1st page by mistake.

Probably fair to say £15 million was a bargain considering his goals kept us up and he currently has over 50% of our goals scored.

Football is mad in that way.

The difference with Wood though was he hadn't been playing due to injury when we signed him and couldn't get a run in the side due to superb form of Taiwo.

I still see Sangare having a part to play, just need to forget his price tag. Aina is a £20 million plus full back yet cost nothing  Sangare looks a £15-£20 million midfielder but it took more to persuade PSV to let him go.

Currently I reckon we could play Arter and Michael Stewart in middle and Nuno would get a tune out of them...

RE: Current Players Thread - ozzyten10 - 09-11-2024

Well I was wrong there with wood. He has been a different player under Nuno…

RE: Current Players Thread - Fumanchew - 09-11-2024

Just had a Quick Look cooper hardly ever played him as a loan striker, normally in a two up front, and if he did he had two number 10s behind him in Brennan and Morgan. Pretty much when nuno came in it was up top on his own and 3 behind him with proper wingers

RE: Current Players Thread - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-11-2024

10 international call ups. 8 to senior squads
Good for club profile and the individuals of course but for us, Nuno has 2 weeks to reset the rest of them but there will be plenty missing.

I would sleep easier at night if Wood didn’t have to fly around the world to face the mighty Vanatu and Samoa.

‘Luckily’ both games are in New Zealand. Hopefully he’s travelling in the best luxury money can buy there and back, and has been done previously this season

Im sure he’s used to it and will be first class with his own bed. But even with the best luxury you can buy there is a 12 hour time change to adapt to. That properly messes me up for at least 3 days before and after.
