The original 5,100 are in the lower tier. The additional 2,000 are in the upper tier. Looking at the seating plan there is a ‘club level’ in between, sounds like for posher people. So it seems we’ll be a bit split?

Nottingham Forest are reportedly in talks with Brennan Johnson about the teenage talent’s future at the City Ground.
The 18-year-old has quickly impressed head coach Sabri Lamouchi, who has played him three times so far this term.
And, according to the Daily Telegraph, the Reds have started talks over a long-term contract for Johnson.

Be interesting to know how this first contract will compare value wise to his dads when he was here. Bet it's not far off being similar.

Erm. It's difficult because he was Mansfield's no.2 and made mistakes for them too as he did with Forest.
In general, I thought he did ok. Forest are still in the Championship because of his 'Hand of God.' He'll always get props for that. Somewhat harsh not to be no.2.
Forest have Pants who is a top 6 keeper. Somewhat flawed. Well documented. He's clearly been frozen out. And Forest want him off the wages when that happens. See the fate that befell the other pretenders.
Muric was brought in before the current coach(?) and he is no more composed than Smith over the 1st few impressions in terms of claiming in the box. 2 young keepers lacking confidence? Mind you. Pants is older and doesn't have the confidence to come out and claim either? All three seem shy and retiring. And not too commanding. All three lack confidence? Not a good sign and it doesn't inspire confidence as the last line of defence. Sure, the defence was not 'great' at times last season...but a decent keeper at least compensates for that. When you're last line is pierced you get to see what the keeper is made of.
I think of Shilton. Sutton. Van Breukelen (I can't remember the spelling of his name, the big dutch lad...recall him being decent.) Even Dave Beasant turned bk the years with some superb saves and a real character oozing confidence.
Either way. Samba, the new keeper looks like the real deal. He immediately gave off physicality. Energy. That's what you need in the Championship. He seems a more demanding and imposing GK. Athletic. Actually dives for saves. Confidence. Commands. Kicks.
With the mistakes made over the mediocre recruitment the previous Summer, the specific lessons and remit of the Championship have been learned with regards the new recruitment policy. Players are taller. Bigger. More physical. Faster. Athletic. And they can def' play a bit. And that new recruitment aim is typified in the keeper, Samba.
Muric will likely be no.2 on the bench for now to keep relations with Man City sweet.

1. Both full backs are replaced and no adverse comments are made.
2. Joe Lolley rested and no criticism of the manager.
3. Watson again starts and the reaction is positive.
