RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - wassy04 - 02-03-2019 Yeah he wasn’t even allowed to play with the reserves. I would imagine we’ve agreed a permanent deal for very little fee. Might just take him on loan again like this season. I guess the demand for his services from other clubs will probably have increased given how he’s done this season. RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Username - 02-03-2019 (02-03-2019, 09:27 AM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: A bit odd with Colback but the situation is unchanged, his career at Newcastle is over and Im sure they want him off the wage books. What may be a fly in the ointment though is they could demand a transfer fee or we may have to pay up the remainder of his contract. Their current manager might, the next one might not. RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Maltared - 02-03-2019 (02-03-2019, 09:45 AM)Widdow Wrote: So question is, colback is currently on around £35/40k per week. Would you pay that for him at forest plus a transfer fee? No I wouldnt...he might be a consistent footballer but in the Championship no player is worth more then 20 k a week ...nd that player must be a game changer not a steady Eddie.. Friends even if he was just an average premiership midfielder , some team outside the top 8 in the Premiership would have taken a punt, nd I m in no doubt that if a Watford or a Bournemouth comes calling, Colback wouldn't think twice to go there...if we try to pay a fee for him ( something like half a million ), nd on top of that we give him a three year contract on anything close to 30k a week...we will be regretting it in a year. I still think that our midfield is our weak point nd its not promotion material...so if we have to upgrade by a couple of midfielders that are really quality. .He will end up on the bench....especially with young Yates emergence... Would you pay that for him at forest plus a transfer fee? It's nice to see some eloquence on the depth of Forest's midfield problems. I've been noted your midfield comments for the last few weeks. Hard to argue with. (Unless I was a crazy person...) You have to win midfield to win games. eg. We have 3 DCMs doing the work of 'two' and no experienced ACM for this league (unless Pele turns out to be a star find...) and Lolley on the wing. But on the other? And if Grabban is down with his tendons. Who do we have to call upon? Murphy who's treading water and blowing bubbles. Bonatini? Doesn't seem match fit to me. But if he was...he'd still need service from a fully firing midfield who could supply him the ammo to take his chances. ...and so it goes. Malta calls it out. It is what it is. And it stems back to the Summer. At least Yates has been a find. And Pele? Hopefully something can come from him. Shame he didn't hit the ground running like our two CHs. (Who weren't protected today as well as they have been by Colback and was Watson also culpable in the build up to it? I think Martin alluded to the fact the ball should have been dealt with much sooner...before it got to the stage it did...) SA. RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Username - 04-03-2019 Interesting thread on twitter about crossing statistics in the Championship. RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - the jock - 06-03-2019 The mail are reporting a bust up with grabban. But be interesting to see how it plays out. I’m sure MON won’t want to go into a make or break season next year with doubts over your main goal scorers fitness. A bad Achilles is not an easy injury to manage RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - the jock - 06-03-2019 I had heard rumblings that grabban was a bad egg RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Reds73 - 06-03-2019 (06-03-2019, 12:23 AM)the jock Wrote: I had heard rumblings that grabban was a bad egg Think he’s a bit moody and selfish, but I guess a lot of forwards are RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Reds73 - 06-03-2019 (06-03-2019, 12:23 AM)the jock Wrote: I had heard rumblings that grabban was a bad egg Maybe time for Bonatini to grasp the nettle He’s had a few weeks now to work on his fitness and has good movement RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - Sausage Roll - 06-03-2019 Lewis has tweeted a one-word reply to the article: 'Nonsense.' RE: Nottingham Forest News, Transfer Rumours And Gossip - ac_vodka - 06-03-2019 the article didn`t sound that bad any way - more like handbags then bust up if anything |
