Not moaning so much about Johnson anymore are you. Woods deserved to score as he is a good Premiership player.

Thought our shape was excellent and the defence in general were very good. Took a wonder goal to score but they did miss some chances too and Navas made a couple of good stops.

The one disappointment was when we *did* get the ball we gave it a away so often. Felipe handled Haaland pretty well but also played some shocking passes. A little bit frustrating as when we did get it down and play if we created the goal.

Wood did what I was hoping to see from him today - won some headers, caused a bit of a nuisance and obviously got the vital goal.

I'm so glad to have been wrong when I doubted Chris Woods selection.

What a Brilliant result Atmosphere was next level !!!
A fit Niakhate and T and this team is going places !!
Filipe is Proper center half with Niakhate, lodi and navas that gives us 4 of a champions league back 5.
Loads of options for midfield 3 depending on opposition and MGW and Brennan starting to click get T fit and playing like he was before injury i honestly think we will be ok this season to push on and improve squad again in summer . Shame we didn't get that Young Brazilian could of done with signing a LW in jan as would of added much needed balance when would plays down the middle .

Tactical masterclass by Coops.
Man City play a box midfield with a 6 an 8 and 2 10’s.
They killed Arsenal in the 2nd half with overloads.
Coops set us up to combat that as much as possible.

We were always going to have to stay in the game and play for moments.
Well done Coops

Didn’t expect him to miss this match

Our goal was one Man City would've been proud of. From Navas through to Wood's finish they didn't touch the ball.

CLASS.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Manchester City - Fumanchew - 19-02-2023

It’s the Fulham team goal on steroids. I hope it gets lauded as much.

A moot point with injuries but based on what I've seen, Niakhate would struggle to get in ahead of Felipe and Boly. We have come a long way in a short space of time that's for sure.
