We all know Qatar and Russia were chosen because  the whole committee was bent. Lets have a proper tournament next time played in front of proper fans. I want to see street parties, face painted Mexicans, Norweigans in viking helmets  scantily clad Brazilian ladies, you get the idea.

You had me at scantily clad Brazilian ladies

Who are we routing for then particularly England vs Wales? Anyone found some long lost Welsh ancestry?
Im pretty sure if Brennan were to score I would be up and cheering to be honest.

Fair enough, human rights etc are important things, but I'm fed up with a football tournament being used as a vehicle for people to peddle their political beliefs and to extol their virtue. The time to complain about those things was 10 years ago.

It would be quite funny if all the players had made clandestine agreements to make every game a 0-0 draw and make it the worst World Cup ever though.

And now FIFA have announced that they *will* be banning alcohol sales in stadia before matches.

Its probably going to be the worst wc ever to be honest without the players doing that. It'd be amusing though if some players and teams got disciplined for cheating as you describe in a tournament that was won by a country that bribed and cheated to get it in the first place.

No world cup is complete without a few crowd shots of bikini clad beauties. I wonder if there'll be any in Qatar, and will the tv directors have the nerve to pick them out and put them on screen?

I've always been England first followed by Wales because I am 25% Welsh.

My grandad was from Wrexham.
