Along with the muted 'two walk outs?'
Promotion in 2.5 years vs Promotion now. (That was a clear differentiator based upon what Aitor said in one of his final interviews vs what the club have been saying all season.)
It looks like a '...difference of opinions, Geoffrey.' (The 'last minute' last ditch talks before he finally did walk by 'mutual' agree to release from contract.
Keane can be no less prickly. But then. Any strong manager is going to clash with the owners at some point. Keane is a strong character. So is Martin.

I am not too bothered about Keane either way.
I loved in at Forest when he was a player but I am not so sure that we should employ him again.
He will get my support if he comes but I don't care if he doesn't come.

Keane is used to being paid a lot.
He was the highest paid assistant manager in football for Ireland, not sure Forest want to pay him what they normally would pay for an actual manager.
