Totally agree

but then it means a whole raft of new players in, unless we're planning on padding the squad with youth?

This is too much in my opinion, we should carry on getting academy players around the first team but if you do this you're asking for relegation. Gabriel is having a poor loan spell at Blackpool which is frustrating, Preston is at Grimbsy who are pretty much rock bottom of League Two so I'm not sure he's a Championship player (yet), McGuane I'd like to see integrated and the same with Johnson, Swann perhaps needs another loan higher up this time.

I'd be happy with that if Samba re-finds his form again!

Looks promising, but you would need a new manager in place to pick that, as no way CH would

A bit too extreme I'd say, though I absolutely support the sentiment.

Worrall to start all day and add in Sow/Colback to the squad for me.Is Richardson better than Gabriel? You have to have some experience. We once had a season with Scott Gemmil and Roy Keane as our 1st choice midfield which looks great on paper, but they got "old manned" in loads of games as they both lacked experience.

Ioannou I really wanted to be good as he would cross a ball-always. But he looked out of his depth every game until his  poor control and lack of recovery pace got him a red against Luton!! He is a left back version of Jenkinson but with  a cross in him. Even out of form Ribs is a better option.

Sami, Worrall, Sow, Colback, Grabban,  Ribs, hopefully Filip K too plus most of that team you name above would give us 17 or 18 players. Then the hard bit: Bin off the rest and then there is room for manoeuvre. If only it was that simple. With wages they are on who will want Jenkinson, Bong, Figs, Hef, Arter, Fred. (I've probably missed some).

And he'd be right to. Are you saying the right side of Richardson, with Mighten in front of him wouldn't get slaughtered every game?

And McGuane's never played a single senior game for us. Playing him with Johnson risks the mid-field being over run from the likes of the Boro midfield that schooled us last week.

Ok push the youth button but that's just suicide.

Would get you relegated.

Ha yes I was about to say the same, you'd be relegated.

Anyway, what's all this negativity surrounding CH he's given Mighten plenty of game time

RE: What Is The Clubs Transfer Strategy - Strawberry Avenger - 25-01-2021

CH has given Mighten more game time than Sabri did.

But like any emerging young player he needs to be managed in and out of the side.

We tried the young guns approach under Hart and Warburton. It didn't work.

We didn't have Cantona leading either to the promised land.
