Do you think Marinakis is enjoying being the lowest ranked any English team has ever been in the new format Europa League's history? Pay premium prices, expect premium results imo! I don't think many would pay £50 a game for a Championship match & £900 for a Championship season ticket, so you have to expect peoples expectations to rise at 15% a year too. RE: Ange - Username - 08-10-2025 Back on topic. I have heard from a source that is normally spot on that he’s already been told he’s gone and the delay is sorting his appointment. RE: Ange - Sausage Roll - 08-10-2025 Presume you mean his replacement. Does your source have any insight on who it might be? RE: Ange - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 08-10-2025 I have no problem at all with those who want to wallow in misery. It is your choice. I am here to enjoy and savour being in Europe and competing in the best league in the world. Ange or no Ange. RE: Ange - BomberBowyer - 08-10-2025 (08-10-2025, 10:52 AM)Username Wrote: Back on topic. Have also seen that but what a mess if true. I mean what happens if a replacement takes a few weeks, it is hardly going to inspire Ange, the players or the fans for that matter. Sorry yes correct but no idea on who is incoming. RE: Ange - Username - 08-10-2025 (08-10-2025, 11:52 AM)BomberBowyer Wrote:(08-10-2025, 10:52 AM)Username Wrote: Back on topic. This isn’t taken from social media, it’s from someone close to the situation. Have seen it on SM though, perhaps from same person or someone else they know. Just feels a mess though. In previous times the manager would be gone and Gary Brazil in temp charge until the new manager joins but we don’t have that option nowadays. RE: Ange - northeastred - 08-10-2025 Fab has just said on a podcast with Ben Jacobs. We have made no decision on ange We're currently not looking/talking to any other managers. Looks like hes here for the foreseeable RE: Ange - Marinakis Red - 08-10-2025 Fab is not reliable where Forest are concerned. RE: Ange - DR Forest - 08-10-2025 If true that he’s going, let’s hope the change is swift. It benefits nobody to drag it out. Let’s also hope it’s a person from at least the same shelf as Glasner or Silva, if not actually either of them. I have sympathies for Ange - circumstances, injuries, timing etc and whilst part of me looked forward to some exciting football, I think the reality was that he was never the right person for the job. I can talk about him in the past tense because even if he’s not gone yet, we all know he will not be manager next season with both Glasner and Silva out of contract in the summer. |
