Absolutely. Megson was not a decent bloke. He was a horrible bastard. It just made me laugh.

I think McLaren is the perfect example- great bloke…one of the best coaches players have worked with…except that was under SAF who MANAGED. Ange ball when played well is exciting and dominating- with high press and high lines. It’s f***s players over in a season with more than 30 games! McLaren did the decent thing when he realised he had neither the tools or ideas for what we actually needed - I wish Ange all the luck in the world but hope he does the same…

The issue is the change is system, style and patterns is so different to what the players have been already trained for. To make such a dramatic switch required a preseason and intensive training over a period of time. It is not something you can do between games or international break. If Ange can install it then it will be a huge step forward in forests development as a team and providing we bring in managers after Ange who have the same beliefs it will only push us forward.
Was I in favour of Ange no. I am concerned? Of course I am. However I have taken a bit of time and considered the ifs and buts about it and what we want to become. I now actually appreciate and applaud Ange for having the fight and conviction to come here and try to be the catalyst that changes us from a team holding on in hope of a break away to a team wanting to dominate.

Agreed.

After all not long ago we were getting beaten by most teams in The Championship.

Now we are playing in the best league in the world which features some of the world's greatest players and also in a very good Europa League.

I feel sorry for anyone who can't enjoy that.
